” Orum “, name of the newly released CD of Giana is an artistic collaboration with arranger Letieres Leite (conductor of Orkestra Rumpilezz ) and producer Alê Siqueira (worked with Marisa Monte , Arnaldo Antunes and Omara Portuondo). It is a celebration of contemporary Brazilian music associated with a research of African – Brazilian rhythms that were brought to Brazil from Africa centuries ago, as well as those that gave birth to Samba and Baião, but unlike these,  are in a state of purity and that through out works such as Giana’s, come blending the contemporary Brazilian popular music into a brand new direction.
